Ashley is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who currently reports on news from City Hall in Austin, Texas. Her work has been honored by the Texas Associated Press, and she’s been named an Emerging Business Leader by the Greater Austin Black Chamber of Commerce. When she’s not chasing news, Ashley enjoys volunteering with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, cooking, and dancing.
With her background in design, Darbie started CRU in 2008. Since then, CRU Dinnerware, which provides beautiful, modern, luxury tabletop products, has been a best seller in Macy’s, Dillards, and Bed Bath & Beyond. Darbie is passionate about design and making an impact in the world.
Melinda is one of the most dynamic women in Austin and known for her work as a successful female entrepreneur, philanthropist, and role model. She’s the founder and publisher of AW Media, Inc., which publishes Austin Woman Magazine, and the woman behind On the Dot, a daily audible newsletter full of encouragement and inspiration for women and their stories.
Mica is a graphic designer-turned entrepreneur, the quintessential modern woman and founder of May Designs. Mica started May Designs in 2009 after she was unable to find the perfect notebook, and has grown from notebooks to an array of customizable paper products, including stationery, greeting cards, photo books, and more.
