Polished Dallas Chapter Advisor

Letter from the executive director

Polished Enthusiast,

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Polished Dallas Chapter Advisor. We are thrilled you want to invest in the lives of young professional women typically between the ages of 24-35. Lord knows they need you.

Over the last 8 years Polished has shared the gospel with 8,000+ young professional women. We've launched 4 thriving chapters in Austin, Dallas, Ft. Worth, and North Dallas, and will be launching our fifth chapter in Houston this year. We've trained 100+ leaders to share their faith with the lost and disconnected professional women in their sphere of influence. By God's grace we are reaching an underserved and unreached group of women in the U.S. In fact, Christianity Today calls our target audience the newest U.S. mission field.

Polished is kind of like Young Life for young professional women. We host monthly luncheons, attended by 80-100 women, in each of our 4 chapter locations so that we can share the gospel and redirect women back to the local church. Our 60-minute program includes lots of table discussion led by a trained Polished leader and 20 minutes of a testimony from a professional woman. At almost every luncheon we have women asking to know more about a relationship with Christ or to receive a free bible or visit a local church. You probably wish something like this was around for you as you began your career. All the more reason to partner with us as Chapter Advisor.

Our Chapter Advisor pilot program is part of our strategy to reach young professional women with the gospel. You see, their #1 request to Polished is to help connect them with a spiritually mature professional woman that is a few steps ahead of them in the workplace. They don't want programs or curriculum or a schedule full of one-on-one meetings; they want a connection for relationship. They are often seeking advice and would love to have you at their tables to ask questions regarding careers and situations you've most likely experienced in your own career.

God has given you wisdom and expertise in your field. We are asking for your time as well as your help in developing an advisor program that is meaningful to everyone; we will solicit your input and advice as we go through our Spring luncheons. Our goal is to provide this program for each of our chapters. We would love to have you join us and help us in providing meaningful relationships with the young professional women we serve. I hope you join our mission and become a Dallas Chapter Advisor today.

We're looking for 8-10 professional women over the age of 40 that would be willing to attend 4 of the 5 Polished Dallas luncheons this Spring.

Here are the dates for our Dallas luncheons at Sambuca Uptown from 11:45am-12:45pm:

  • Wednesday, February 8th
  • Wednesday, March 8th
  • Wednesday, April 5th
  • Wednesday, May 10th
  • Wednesday, June 7th
