Polished exists to gather young professional women to navigate career and explore faith together. Founded in 2008, Polished has reached 22,000+ young professional women with a gospel impression, and now close to 50 cities in the U.S. are eagerly waiting to launch a Polished chapter. As we gear up for massive expansion with plans to launch 20 Polished chapters by 2020, we are innovating infrastructure and tools for exponential growth. Reporting to the executive director, the director of development and operations will have developmental and operational responsibility for the Polished staff, programs, expansion and vision alignment. Working from home, this is a full-time, salaried position at $47,500 annually. Normal business hours with travel.

The Polished director of development and operations must be a persuasive and winsome communicator who is action-oriented and adaptable.
Myers-Briggs ENFJ preferred. Enneagram 7 or 3 preferred.
The director of development and operations must have a self-directed, resilient and contagious passion to build relationships with donors and share the Polished story with confidence. Eager to catalyze their own personal network for development purposes, the candidate must demonstrate a versatile ability to engage diverse groups of people through a variety of platforms and events with the Polished vision. The candidate must find life-giving energy each time a compelling invitation presents itself to partner with Polished with a kingdom-minded generosity on a regular basis. Thriving on curating experiences and events that highlight God’s work through Polished, the director of development and operations will be responsible for increasing revenue through a strategic fundraising plan to engage and energize Polished supporters. Undaunted by measurable goals, the candidate must thrive on consistent relationship building.
The director of development and operations must enjoy the tasks associated with back office support such as ensuring ongoing programmatic excellence with data-driven evaluation, consistent quality of finance and administration, technology maintenance, discipleship of staff and high-level volunteers and the consistency required for seamless collaboration with the Board of Directors. An avid social media user, the director of development and operations will oversee implementing the newest and latest social media trends to further the Polished mission and growth of the organization while maintaining the voice of Polished and stewarding our message to our audience. Managing all ministry communications, the director of development and operations must have a clear and winsome communication style prompting our audiences to action.
