Is Jesus the Only Way to Heaven?

In short, yes. Here’s why – if you believe, like we do at Polished, that God’s account of creation and His plan for the world is all true, then Jesus is the only solution. The only one who could repair the broken relationship between God and humanity is Jesus. Jesus said, "I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life. No one gets to the Father apart from me.” (John 14:6)

Many prophets and teachers like Mohammed or Buddha may have good insight, but they could never repair the issue at the heart of the world’s problems, which is sin. Only a perfect sacrifice could be a substitute for all that is imperfect in us and in our world. Only someone who is both completely God and completely man could be that perfect sacrifice. That perfect person is Jesus (Acts 4:12). When Jesus died and came back from the dead, He became the perfect sacrifice and the only way to a renewed relationship with God and a life spent eternally with Him.
