What Is the Trinity?

The Trinity is the Christian belief that there is one God who exists in three different, but equal persons. The Bible teaches that Jesus is God, that God the Father is God, and that the Holy Spirit is God (John 10:30, 2 Corinthians 3:17). The Bible also teaches that there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). All were present and integral parts of the creation of the world and are living and active in our world today. To be honest, the only person who truly understands the concept of the Trinity is God. It’s something that we as humans simply can’t wrap our minds around completely, but know to be true.
