Fort Worth Co-Directors
Born and raised in Texas twig towns, our Fort Worth co-Director, Lyndan Gann, has a passion for helping others and working behind the scenes. Starting as the mail girl for a large corporation, she has braved business coaching, served as an executive assistant, and is currently Operations Manager at Pyxis Care Management.
Outside of the office, Lyndan thrives when counseling Christian teens every summer and winter break in central Texas, getting to grow with her church family in Arlington, and asking hard questions. Joining Polished was the perfect outlet for pouring into others while creating deep and meaningful connections to do life well - together.
On any given evening, you can find her knee-deep in discussion with her small-group Bible study or exploring downtown Fort Worth for local food shops. She also appreciates the value of a quiet night in, cozied up with a good book, coffee in hand. She dreams of a day when I-35 is free of construction, all cars are equipped with seat warmers, and Hallmark holiday movies are acceptable year round.
A native Texan, our co-director, Mara Davidson, has a passion for the hospitality industry that was cultivated through working in her family’s restaurant. Mara earned her undergraduate degree in International Hospitality & Event Management from Kendall College in Chicago, Illinois, where she also served as Student Body President. Her career started at Hyatt Hotels and flourished quickly through promotions and valuable exposure to various segments of the hospitality industry. In 2016, Mara launched Lemon Meetings + Events, LLC, a boutique event management company located in Fort Worth, Texas.
Along with running her own company, Mara actively serves as a marriage community group leader at Gateway Church alongside her handsome husband James, a local Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney. She also loves volunteering with the Texas Restaurant Association teaching high school and college students about hospitality careers. Mara has a heart for mentoring young people in career development and finds great joy in coaching them toward their goals.
When she is not working or volunteering, you might find Mara in East Texas on her family’s farm or experiencing local DFW eateries with friends. She loves bubble tea and vermicelli noodle dishes. Above all, Mara is most proud to be a wife to her husband and a Mom to her two daughters (one is still in the oven).
