Dani Gantt & kathrin yokubaitis
Dani is an HR Manager at Pappas Restaurants, a family-owned and operated restaurant company with nearly one hundred restaurant locations in eight states. She leads the recruiting, employee engagement and retention initiatives for hourly team members.
Dani is a native New Yorker who calls Houston home. She is passionate about serving her community and is on the committee for HR Houston Gives Back where they partner with local organizations to assist disadvantaged job seekers through job search guidance, resume reviews and mock interviews. She frequently volunteers with the Houston Food Bank, Children at Risk and her church Bayou City Fellowship.
She remembers attending her first Polished Houston luncheon in the Fall of 2017 and felt an instant connection to exploring life, faith and work with a diverse group of professional women. Dani is excited to be serving as the Co-Director of Polished Houston with Angie.
Danielle is a Mom to Ethan, the coolest 13-year-old boy she knows. She loves listening to live music and traveling. She can be found searching for coffee, tacos, a place to hike and the score of the game.
Kathrin is the Manager of Community Relations and Events at Star of Hope Mission, a Christ-based ministry dedicated to serving Houston’s homeless men, women and children. She oversees communicating Star of Hope to the general public and developing special fundraising events.
Kathrin and her husband Ryan, recently celebrated 15 years of marriage and welcomed their precious daughter, Marie this past fall. She has a heart for women dealing with the difficultly of infertility and is an “open book” to share her experience and help support others facing similar struggles. Kathrin enjoys audiobooks to cope with the Houston commute and spends her free time loving on her sweet baby, family dinners and enjoying their yellow award-winning Labrador Retriever Scout.
She is thrilled to serve as Co-Director for Polished Houston. She attended the first Polished luncheon 10 years ago in Dallas and couldn’t be happier for a Houston Chapter to help equip women!
