Heather Humphrey

Heather’s career began when she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Redlands in California with her Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Computer Science.  The pursuit of her passion led her to work as a burgeoning consulting manager for Kenneth Leventhal & Company, a national accounting firm specializing in real estate.

Since then, Heather Humphrey has amassed over 30 years of team leadership, information services and financial experience within the homebuilding industry.  Heather now utilizes her experience in her role as Chief Financial Officer for David Weekley Homes. Humphrey joined Weekley in 1993 and during her tenure has also served as the Company’s Chief Information Officer leveraging technology to increase operational efficiencies. As CFO, Humphrey manages the capital structure of the company to meet current needs and support future growth. She is responsible for a variety of strategic initiatives, financial planning and reporting, controlling cash flow, management reporting, and record keeping.

In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling with her husband Mike, serving at Bayou City Fellowship, reading poolside, spending time with her 2 grandchildren and walking her labradoodle Molly.
