Navigating our career is never-ending project management. We can flow chart every season and still feel as though we don't know which path to take. Anybody tracking with us? Thankfully, God is our ever-available resource for guidance in life. Thousands of years ago, the King of Israel chose to preserve several songs and poems capturing human emotion in a powerful way that still brings many comfort all these years later. We call them the Book of Psalms found in the Old Testament of the Bible. They are a constant source of comfort and encouragement to our Polished followers, and we hope this verse from Psalm 16 encourages you today. You may not know what's next with your job situation, but we know for sure God wants to guide you, and joy is found in His presence. And maybe that is why joy feels so elusive when we feel far away from God. The truth is that closeness to God is about turning around--because He is always present in our lives.
