Kelly greer & ayesha hawkins
Kelly enjoys organizing, planning, and coordinating anything: events, travel, calendars, budgets, dinner with friends, etc. She has experience as a caterer, event planner, operations manager, marketer, social media manager, program coordinator, and more. As a graduate from Texas State University with degrees in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Persuasion and Spanish, Kelly gets excited about applying her skills to new environments and new challenges.
Over 15 years ago, Kelly met her husband in 7th grade at Coram Deo Academy. Caleb and Kelly were friends for ten years before getting married on the beach in Destin, Florida in 2013. After five year of marriage, Kelly is thankful for all the spiritual growth that married life has helped facilitate for her and is excited for everything that God has in store for their love in the future.
Travel is one of Kelly’s greatest passions. She has been to 16 countries around the world including backpacking throughout Europe before/after studying abroad in college. Kelly also loves swimming, photography, cooking, horseback riding, listening to music, good food, good drinks, good company, and going to the beach. Kelly is thankful for God’s constant presence in her life. God has given her strength, peace, love, support, blessings, victories in hard times, and lots of guidance and wisdom. Dr. Ayesha Hawkins received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mary Baldwin College in Communications and her Masters of Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. She earned her doctorate in Higher Education Administration at Texas Tech University.
Dr. Hawkins has worked in higher education for many years including positions where she gained experience in program assessment, leadership development, community outreach, corporate citizenship, volunteerism, coaching and diversity and inclusion initiatives. She is passionate about helping people achieve their life goals.
Dr. Hawkins aspires to create opportunities for people to learn, grow and develop into positive and impactful members of the community. Dr. Hawkins has served on boards including CFB ISD Educational Foundation, and founding President of the National Association of Women MBAs Greater Dallas Chapter. Dr. Hawkins serves currently as a board member of Hallie’s Hero a non-profit looking to get more people on the bone marrow registry.
Dr. Hawkins entered into faith at the age of 12 while attending St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, TX. While attending Mary Baldwin College, Dr. Hawkins served as a Stewardess for Christ Our Redeemer AME. Currently, Dr. Hawkins attends Gateway Church, headquartered in Southlake, TX; however, she attends the Grand Prairie location. At Gateway Church, Dr. Hawkins was adult baptized in 2015 and served as Altar Ministry Captain for Gateway Students Grand Prairie for 18 months and currently serves on the Altar Ministry general services and for Gateway Women events.
Dr. Hawkins has been married for 14 years to Jason and has one child Dimitri.
