Jennifer Edwards is the co-owner and brewer at 4J Brewing Company. Jennifer started home brewing with her father, Larry, in 2011. The family’s home brewing knowledge dates back to the Prohibition days when Larry’s father would brew with Larry's grandfather. Each father taught their child how to brew through the generations and continues today through Jennifer and Larry. 4J Brewing Company was formed in 2015 and finally opened the doors in March of 2018. While Jennifer and Larry had the idea to start 4J, Larry just wanted to be the official taste tester. Jennifer’s Mom, Marilyn stepped up in his place to become co-owner which made 4J 100% female owned and family operated, with a female head brewer. The name comes from the family of 4 girls, all named with “J” names. Jennifer is the 4th “J”. When you come to 4J, you are a part of the family.
